Description:

You’re about to walk into a meeting when your boss pulls you aside to ask for an update on the project you’re currently working on. She says she has some concerns about where things are at and would like to talk to you later this afternoon. You agree and then head into your meeting.

Where’s your head at?

Not in this meeting. You’re still thinking about the encounter you just had with your boss. You might not even notice what’s being said for the first 10 minutes of the meeting, if you end up paying attention at all.

You look around at the other people in the meeting. Are we a team or just a bunch of people who happen to sometimes work together? Do you know what would really excite them and get them motivated? Do you trust them to have your back?

Improvisors go on stage night after night without a script. They have no idea what’s going to happen and trust that if they stay present, listening, in the moment, and trust their scene partners magic will happen.

And it does.

They can’t afford to have their heads elsewhere and they won’t be successful unless they can trust their team mates.

Come find out how they do it. What are the secrets of improvisation? Find out how can we get ourselves energized, listening, focused and connecting with the people we work with. How can we play like improvisors play and how can we apply these techniques and activities to our day to day work to facilitate meetings and workshops that are engaging, entertaining, and super effective.

Come play with us, improvise with us, and take home some practical, collaborative exercises you can start using with your teams immediately.
