DescriptionSome people think that the differences in attitude between millenials and more experienced workers are so profound that business, as it is currently conducted, will never be the same again. Others believe that the debate is pointless since the distinctions being made don’t constitute real differences. A third group doesn’t care if the differences are real or not. They suggest that we all “just get back to work.” So whose view, if any, is closest to reality?  Do we need to think about engagement differently for the various generations, or is it a false construct?  Are there unique perspectives that we can learn from each generation regarding networking and building relationships to enhance engagement, and if so, what are they?  Why is this topic even worth discussing for us as OD professionals?

These are the questions we intend to explore at our first Fall TODN event, kicking off a new series of events focused on the theme "redefining engagement".

Please note that this event will be facilitated as an interactive panel discussion with a diverse group of panelists including:

  • Greg Witz, President and CEO of Witz Education
  • Ashley Pereira, National Laureate of the Millennium Scholarship and Manager (Operations) at Rogers Media
  • Mark Edgar, SVP of Human Resources at RSA Canada with over ten years of senior HR experience in the UK
  • Gary Slye, Manager of Change Management at OLG during the largest public sector transformation in Canada
  • Elaine Deramo, Associate with Challenge Factory an organisation addressing the talent management challenge associated with the aging workforce

We look forward to seeing you there!
