Description: Deepen your OD capacity with Michael Bungay Stanier

Guest Speaker: Michael Bungay

Event Itinerary:

  • 5:15 - Sign-in and Open networking
  • 5:45 - Facilitated Networking
  • 6:15 - Primary event
  • 8:15 - Wrap-up and other business

Primary event: How do you design a session for OD professionals of varying experience and subject matter expertise? You’re right, it’s almost impossible.

So in best OD consulting style, we’ll go with the wisdom in the room. I’ll present three options of what we might do as a group, and as a group we’ll decide which one will be most useful.

I can promise you this: all the options are focused on expanding and deepening your own self-knowledge, so you can show up as a more effective OD practitioner. And all three will be practical processes you can use with your own clients.

Come expecting to be invited in to play, to be provoked, and to see a masterful facilitator at work.

Michael's bio: Michael Bungay Stanier is the Founder of Box of Crayons. An experienced OD practitioner, he has trained directly with luminaries such as Ed Schein, Peter Block, Lisa Lahey and Bob Keagan.

In his own right, Michael is the author of a number of books, the most recent being The Coaching Habit: Say Less, Ask More and Change the Way You Lead Forever. In the year since its launch, it’s sold 100,000 copies, been a WSJ bestseller, and received more than 400 5-star reviews on Amazon, where it’s remained the #1 coaching book.

Michael was the first Canadian Coach of the Year, was a Rhodes Scholar, is a coach to TED Fellows, and was the only Canadian selected to be part of Marshall Goldsmith’s recent 100 Coaches project.
